Bad Diary Days
Okay, here's a picture of Lily Allen from last month's i-D magazine, for those of you who were probably too lazy to click on the links. Oh, and for those of you who are probably having the Monday blues.
Nothing happened today though. Just realised that all my thumbnails for my Illustrator class just went into the toilet because of a change of brief.
Anyways, here's a joke I thought was pretty fab.
Doctor Dave had slept with one of his patients and felt guilty all day long. No matter how much he tried to forget about it, he just couldn't. The guilt and sense of betrayal was overwhelming. But every once in a while he'd hear an internal, reassuring voice in his head that said:
"Dave, don't worry about it. You aren't the first medical practitioner to sleep with one of their patients, and you won't be the last. And you're single. Just let it go, Dave."
But invariably another voice in his head would bring him back to reality, whispering:
Dave, you sick bastard
You're a vet."
Heh. And this as well.
Alright, before I sign off, here's a couple tunes for the trip to work tomorrow (after another World Cup-induced night). With everyone wearing heavy eye-bags and with your (probably) pissed off boss tomorrow, it looks like you're gonna get the Tuesday blues as well.
Just don't yell something stupid, like tubby demonstrated above.
The "Sunshine" Soundtrack
Bobby Darin - "Splish Splash"
The Prototypes - "Je Ne Te Connais Pas"
Nina Simone - "I Got Life"
Corinne Bailey Rae - "Put Your Records On"
Herman's Hermits - "I'm Into Something Good"
Lily Allen - "LDN"
Arctic Monkeys - Cigarette Smoke (Demo)
And I apologise that the "Ram It Home" link is dead, worst thing is that I can't find my copy as well. Anyways, here's another equally good We Are Scientists song: "In Action" (thanks to bhlogiston for the heads-up!)
See you tomorrow then. Same time, same channel.
