"I don't think I'm a bad role model. I'm just being true to myself. Maybe girls will see that and go do something with themselves." - Annie from Giant Drag.

Was up this morning watch the Swedes scrape past Paraguay. Did you see that Källström shot? I'm so gonna buy a Sweden kit and support Olympique Lyonnais.

There is life outside the Premiership. Forget England. People to watch: David Villa(Esp), Johan Elmander (Swe), Wilhemson (Swe), Phillip Lahm (Ger), Dirk Kuyt (Hol), Lee Chun Soo (Kor), and the whole Italian team.

I reckon this World Cup will be the Azzuri's. Bite me.

Alright, enough of the footy talk. I have been listening to too much Giant Drag in the past day (yes, it's a good thing). And I have to say, "Kevin is Gay" is the best feel-good song of the year. The duo, consisting of Annie and Micah, a blend of delightful melodic pop, and you have your new favourite band. And it helps that Annie looks as cute as a button too. You've gotta love a band that writes songs as quirky as "My Dick Sux".

So here's a cut from their (not that) new album Stars and Unicorns. Available at HMV Singapore.

All highly recommended:
Giant Drag - "Kevin is Gay"
Giant Drag - "This Isn't It" (Live)
Giant Drag - "My Dick Sux" (Live)
Giant Drag - "God Only Knows" (Beach Boys cover)

And some bonus tracks:
Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66 - "Mas Que Nada"
Tamba Trio - "Mas Que Nada"
RJD2 - "De L'alouette" (the track from the new Adidas ad. José +10)

Check out more "Mas Que Nada" tracks at MOKB and World Cup babes at Gorilla vs Bear.

Enjoy your World Cup.
